CD Cover Analysis - 'Nothing Personal' by All Time Low

This is the CD cover for the album ‘Nothing Personal’ by American pop-punk band All Time Low. This cover makes various references to high school/college, which suits the band audience, style of music and what most of their songs are wrote about. The cover is meant to look like an old book cover, but in the middle it is torn and shows a notebook type of paper. On this paper is the band’s name and album title wrote in graffiti type writing, which is what students often do in their school books. There are also pictures of pencils, tapes, and girls. This shows what teenagers, especially boys, lives revolve around. The album name ‘nothing personal’ also relates to teenagers as it is something they say to someone after they have insulted them to make it seem like they haven’t said anything bad.
